Tourism Atherton Tablelands

Atherton Tablelands Promotion Bureau Limited (trading as Tourism Atherton Tablelands) was established in 1986 under the auspice of the former four local government authorities governing the geographic region of the Atherton Tablelands, the region that sits within the boundaries of Tablelands Regional Council and Mareeba Shire Council.

As the peak industry body for tourism, Tourism Atherton Tablelands is the regional voice for the industry and the lead agency for delivering destination marketing activities for the Atherton Tablelands region. Our vision is for the Atherton Tablelands to be recognised as one of the world’s best self-drive destination to engage with nature, culinary delights and adventure trails.

Destination marketing activities are strategically delivered to attract visitors to choose the Atherton Tablelands as their next holiday destination and include digital marketing, production of the regions visitors guide and other campaigns targeting specific markets showcasing key themes to attract visitors to stay longer and visit the entire region.
