Historic and diverse, The Yungaburra Markets has been facilitated by the Yungaburra State School P&C since 1977, making it the longest running market in North Queensland.
With over 250 stalls, we prioritise with local produce, handmade arts and crafts, information services for local matters, excellent food and coffee, massage and healing, 2nd hand stalls and much more.
The Yungaburra Markets are always on the 4th Saturday of the month (which is not always the last! Be careful!) with the exception of December, when it moves to the 3rd Sunday so as not to fall on the Christmas weekend itself.
Market hours are 7.30am-12.30pm.
The Markets are the primary fundraising source for the school with all proceeds go directly to supporting the needs of the school and therefore the community.
Each month a different year grade comes and volunteers on the day, helping ensure the smooth running of a fabulous day.
