The STEPS Program is a Qld-wide info and skills program for 18-65 year olds with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Aneurysm, Concussion, Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS), Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Tumours and their carers, families and friends.
The goal of the STEPS Skills Program is to connect people together and foster a sense of strength and ability.
The STEPS Skills Program is generally offered as six weekly sessions, with each session lasting for 2 hours. There is a workbook with information and interactive group exercises.
The support group is open to the injured, friends, family and carers (no age limits) and meets monthly in towns around the Tablelands in various venues. For details, contact Louise, Sue or Tanya; or check the Facebook page ‘Brain Injury and PCS Atherton
