Location

The Seven Sisters volcanic formation, Yungaburra, North QueenslandNorth Queensland, Australia is home to Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands. The village is easily accessible by car from Cairns, just over one hour up the Gillies Range. Or you can drive the Palmerston Highway from Innisfail, or come from the northern towns of Kuranda or Port Douglas. See the Yungaburra and Tablelands Maps page.

Yungaburra lies in countryside that has been shaped by volcanic activity. This geological activity has left behind rainforest, waterfalls, crater lakes and green pastures.

We have friendly volunteers who all have extensive local knowledge of Yungaburra and the surrounding areas. Located in the heart of the Tablelands, we are within easy reach of all Atherton Tablelands tourist attractions.
