The Atherton Tablelands has wide diversity of landscapes to explore. To the north you’ll find eucalypt woodlands and huge termite mounds. To the west there are old mining towns, limestone caves and volcanic lava tubes. To the south the rainforest, waterfalls and crater lakes beckon. Joining these changing landscapes are fertile farmlands supporting crops, tropical fruit orchards and dairy farms. The historic townships that dot the landscape are waiting to tell their stories of the pioneer settlement of the Atherton Tablelands. View Atherton Tablelands Cycle Touring.

Lake Tinaroo is a huge lake with over 200km’s picturesque shoreline and unlimited fishing spots. The famous Barra Bash is held here each year around November. There is no closed season, no maximum size limit and the lake’s ability to produce World Record fish makes it a unique fishing destination! View Fishing on Lake Tinaroo
