The Yungaburra Hotel, also known as the Lake Eacham Hotel, was built in 1910 and is the pride of the Atherton Tablelands with Federation architecture and displays of historic photographs of the area’s early saw milling days.
The Yungaburra Hotel is the perfect place to stay when you visit the Atherton Tablelands. The hotel is especially popular with couples and families who like to get away from it all – be it for a night or a few days. Backpackers looking to stay in an affordable and historic Aussie Pub will be pleased with what we offer too. The informal and relaxed character, wide open lobbies, common areas, and beautiful gardens mean that children can have fun exploring, playing, and making memories of their time here.
When you’re visiting the Atherton Tablelands, there is no better place for lunch, dinner, or a cold beer, than the Yungaburra Hotel with a reputation as ‘one of the most professional and traditional kitchens’ in the region.
The Yungaburra Hotel is in a unique location and setting that will make any event a truly memorable occasion. The hotel is a very popular venue for special events including: weddings and engagement parties, birthdays and celebration dinners, private dinners, book launches, exhibitions and festivals, work parties and business meetings, and Christmas parties
